Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

The ICT Manager is responsible for the centralised coordination of all information and communications technology to HOST International. Primary emphasis will be assisting the Business Development Manager and business units, develop, implement and maintain robust communication and technology systems. The role will be responsible for collaboratively developing ICT strategy, liaison with key partners in establishing systems, networks, platforms, and equipment and related protocol to enable HOST management and staff a reliable, secure and quality ICT service.

 

To be successful in this role you must have the following skills & attributes:

Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology and minimum 5 years experience.
  • Experience in the provision of ICT systems, networks and protocol management.
  • Experience in managing ICT projects with mid level complexity and budgets.
  • Ability to identify and interpret organisational needs and strategic requirements and provide advice to senior management.
  • Exceptional project management administrative and organisational skills with proven ability to prioritise and organise a heavy workload.
  • High level of personal integrity to be able to handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong digital and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience working or living in a developing country.
  • Experience in organisations utilising FIFO workers. (*note regular FIFO travel is not a requirement for this role)

 

You must be eligible to work in Australia and have or be willing to undertake a working with children check and national police clearance.
