Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
As Client Services Manager, you will be a member of the Program Management team and will play a key role in managing stakeholder and client communications.
The position will oversee the implementation of the following services:
- Case Management teams including clinical advisor
- Child protection specialists
- Community engagement activities
The position is responsible for driving and leading high quality casework services to refugees experiencing complex needs and heightened vulnerabilities and for ensuring genuine and reliable relationships with clients and stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you must have the following skills & attributes:
Essential Criteria:
- Tertiary-level qualification in Community Services/Welfare
- Minimum 5 years' direct services experience in casework and community services settings including experience working directly with clients who have complex needs and/or high vulnerability
- Minimum 3 years' experience in community services leadership including supervision of casework staff and program management as well as effective management of teams
- Experience working with refugees, asylum seekers or clients from culturally diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated confidence in using Microsoft Office and online data systems
- Strong digital and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to partnership and collaboration
Desirable Criteria:
- Prior experience managing programs under contract with Departments of the Australian Government
- Experience working/living in a developing country
In return for your sought-after skills and experience, HOST offers the following:
- This position will operate on a 3 week on and 3 weeks off roster working in Nauru. You will be provided accommodation and a daily living allowance of $125 whilst on deployment in Nauru. Your flights to a home base (anywhere in Australia) are included.
It is a requirement that all applicants are subject to the following:

- Must hold a current, valid driver's licence in Australia or NZ
- Hold a valid passport with at least 6 months validity
- Have the right to work in Australia
- Must undertake a pre-employment medical check as directed by HOST
